Q: Who started the TOCINO Industry and when?
A: In the early 1970s Mrs. Lolita O. Hizon, a housewife thought of a way of preserving left over meat. She experimented on how to improve the process of "tapa making" and came up with her unique concoction of flavors and spices, thus making the recipe of "tocino" a term that she eventually coined up.

Q: How do I know that the product is not yet expired?
A: We have indicated a "best before" date on the packaging of all our meat products. It is suggested that these products be consumed before the date printed on the plastic container to ensure freshness and richness in flavor.

Q: How do I interpret the code printed on the packaging material?
A:
  • The three capital letters is the abbreviation of the month
  • The succeeding two numbers show the day
  • And the last two numbers indicate the year
Q: Where do I store up the products?
A: We recommend that you place all meat products inside the chiller or freezer to maintain its good quality.

Q: How about the left over, where can I place them?
A: Use a sharp knife or a pair of good scissors in cutting the plastic open so as not to completely tear off the packaging material. The remaining uncooked meat product may be placed back in the original container then consume this several days after.
